Kimberley and Top End Motorcycle Adventure Tour

DISTANCE: 3500kms
START AND FINISH:
Tour commences in Darwin city, NT and concludes in Cable Beach, Broome WA. Our Broome to Darwin trip commences in Broome WA and finishes in Darwin NT. Below details will be in reverse starting in Broome and finishing in Darwin.
EVENT DETAILS:
We will kick off from Darwin on day 1 straight into our adventure as we head to the rugged and remote beauty of Kakadu National Park.
The tour will spend the next few days exploring the parks thundering waterfalls, lush rainforests, wandering wetlands, exotic wildlife and ancient rock art.
We will then head further south and stop for a relaxing afternoon in the iconic thermal hot springs at the small pastoral town of Mataranka.
As the tour heads west to the WA border we traverse through some rugged outback tracks and explore some amazing ride through Gorges.
Once we cross into Western Australia we make a short detour to the must see Lake Argyle and Ord River region.
The following few days we will continue our unique Aussie Outback Adventure as we ride through the rugged landscape of the world famous Kimberley region.
We travel across the iconic Gibb River Road and explore the vast untouched wilderness, ancient gorge country and cattle stations the size of small countries.
The tour will finish in the beach resort town of Broome. We will have a beer or 2 with all our new riding buddies on the famous sun kissed Cable Beach watching the sunset over the Indian Ocean.
DISTANCES:
Each day varies between roughly 250 - 500kms, you will need around a 400km fuel range. We will be refuelling each day from stations and road houses.
ROUTE DIFFICULTY:
There will be varying terrain on this tour and we will have some technical break out routes for anyone thats up for a challenge. There will be a mixture from open dirt road, bitumen roads to 4WD twin track with some varying terrain eg sand, mud, rocks. Some off road experience will make your trip much more enjoyable but we do have options for the less experienced rider and some challenges for the riders wanting a little more. We have support crew with lead and sweep riders with you the whole time to assist through any technical parts. There will be roughly 70% dirt and 30% road. We have a back up vehicle running in the back ground that will assist for breakdown or emergencies. The support vehicle can carry spares.
BIKE AND GEAR OPTIONS:
This is an Adventure Bike Tour that is suited to any type of adventure motorcycle from smaller bikes up to larger bikes. All you need to bring is camping gear such as tent, airbed, pillow and sleeping bag, personal items, your riding gear and spare parts such as tubes etc.
Your bike will need to be in good order to tackle 10 days across the remote top end and Kimberley region and we can recommend advice on bike set up if needed.
HIRE BIKE OPTIONS:
We have 16 fully equipped DRZ400's that are adventure ready with dry bags and soft panniers, rear rack, camping gear including tent and airbed, USB charger. If you choose to hire a bike all you need is a pillow, sleeping bag, hydration backpack and your riding gear. There is plenty of room in your panniers to pack clothes and personal items.
ACCOMMODATION OPTIONS:
We will be camping each night at campgrounds with showers and toilets. There will be options some nights to upgrade your accommodation to cabins and rooms. There are shower and toilet facilities each night.
The nights we are not with the support car we eat at restaurant/pubs and there are places to restock with snacks at almost each fuel stop and town we pass through.
