After our very successful Victorian High Country 7 Day Adventure in Janurary this year we are extremely excited to announce will be exploring the spectacular landscape of the Victorian High Country again in 2022.
This ride is on top of most Adventure Riders bucket lists and there are so many reasons why, so come along with us and experience some of the most pristine river crossings, cattle mans huts such as the iconic Craigs Hut featured in The Man From The Snowy River, we will be riding through the Great Dividing Range, Alpine National Park, Lake Eildon, Lake Dartmouth, visiting iconic Australian pubs including Dargo Pub, taking in majestic views in the glorious Alpine Country and so much more.
Our 7 day Vic High Country Tour includes rugged backcountry trails through to old forestry tracks with a range of routes to suit different levels of ability.
Our highly experienced lead riders will assess the rider level of the group and choose the appropriate trails to suit.
This tour is best suited to an intermediate level riding skill.
We welcome all makes and models of bikes that as suited to this type of riding as long as they have a current Australian registration and a fuel range of 300kms. Larger bikes such as KTM 1190's can be ridden on this tour if you have an advanced rider level and are an experienced adventure rider.
We have a fleet of hire DRZ400's available equipped with long range tanks, luggage bags and camping equipment so all you need to bring is a hydration pack and some clothes and your personal items.


what's included
Our tours are a unique Adventure Riding experience, they are unsupported so you will be required to carry all of your own camping equipment, clothes, daily snacks, optional camp chair and your personal items. If you are new to adventure riding we can help with bike set up and recommend the best camp gear and luggage bags to suit your bike, there are some great options available so there will be something to suit any type of bike to get it adventure ready.
We have a back up vehicle that will follow in the back ground and meet up at certain times of the tour to cook up a camp oven roast, damper, stews and a BBQ breakfast one of the mornings.
Our back up vehicle is available to recover any bike breakdowns, emergency situations and will carry spare parts and tools for motorcycle servicing.
Our lead and sweep riders will carry a satellite phone and EPIRB for any emergency situations and also a tracking device so family and friends can follow the tour in real time on an easy to use App.
With all of our tours we use what we call the 'cornerman system' to keep the group together and avoid people taking wrong turns and getting lost. This system is easily learnt and is a tried and true way that is used quite often when riding in groups.

tour overview
Our tour will start and finish on the Western side of the Victorian High Country in the small town of Healesville, which is located 65kms from the centre of Melbourne.
Each day we will cover between 150km - 300kms through varying terrain and tracks, some of which are weather dependant so routes may be altered slightly to suit each day.
We camp each night at a different location such as Caravan Parks, National Parks, outback pubs and cattleman's huts. There are options to upgrade to rooms on certain nights at your own cost and you can be assured there will be cold beers and drinks available when we pull up camp each afternoon to top off a great day on the bike.

We have a limited number of hire bikes available, they are current model DRZ400s equiped with all the camping equipment you will require for the tour and a long range fuel tank so it will be ready to just jump on and ride. All you will be required to bring is your own hydration back pack and personal items.
